# Pedaltrak — Full Documentation

> Track and improve your Peloton workouts with an intuitive companion app.

Pedaltrak is a free companion app for Peloton users, available on Android and iOS. It is developed by Peleus X, based out of Ohio. Pedaltrak is not officially affiliated with Peloton, but it is part of the Peloton Authorized Developer Program.

## About

Pedaltrak (formerly known as Pelotrak) is a completely free app created as a passion project by a Peloton enthusiast. It connects users with their Peloton workout data and provides advanced analytics, social features, and training tools.

## Features

### Workout Insights
Pedaltrak analyses every workout and puts it into context of your other workouts. You get insights, graphs, and metrics that are intuitive to understand.

### Instructor Bingo
Need some motivation? Try the Instructor Bingo! A grid of 5x5 instructors, generated fresh every week. How many rows can you fill?

### PedalPower Metric
With every workout you get a personalized PedalPower score. The score is based on a 6-week average baseline of your workouts. You get points for beating that baseline.

### Innovative Fitness Metric
Pedaltrak introduces an innovative new fitness metric to help you track your fitness improvements. It is measured as j/hb, meaning how much power did you create with every heart beat. As you get more fit and your heart gets stronger, you will be able to create more output with every heartbeat.

### Friends Feed
Pedaltrak shows you the workouts your friends have been doing in a simple feed. Give high-fives and take the same classes they recommend.

### Workout Goals
Create detailed workout goals per week/month/year and Pedaltrak will automatically track their completion.

### Annual Summary
At the end of every year, Pedaltrak summarizes your statistics for you. So fun!

### Powerzone Training
Pedaltrak has a number of features specifically dedicated to Powerzone training. Set yourself goals by creating Powerzone challenges.

### Strength Training
Pelotrak tracks which muscle groups have been worked out when and how much each day and week.

### Workout Notes
Add notes to each class to keep track of, for example, weights used and repetitions. Great for strength training.

### Bookmark Managing
Finally a bookmark manager for Peloton! Got too many classes bookmarked? Organize them into groups or declare bookmark bankruptcy and delete them all to start fresh.

### Available in German
Pedaltrak is fully translated into German as well.

## Installation

### Android
Download directly from the Google Play Store:

### iOS (TestFlight Beta)
Pedaltrak is still in beta on iOS. It cannot be directly downloaded from the Apple App Store. Instead, it needs to be downloaded using Apple's beta testing app called "TestFlight".

**Step 1 — Install Apple's TestFlight**
Install TestFlight from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/testflight/id899247664

**Step 2 — Sign up for the Pedaltrak beta app**
Follow this link to sign up for the beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/egCVT2cJ

This is where it may get confusing (Apple keeps changing the flows). Most likely, you'll end up in TestFlight, in which case continue to Step 3. If you get to a website that says "Step 1: Get TestFlight", go on to Step 2 on that page (you already did step 1) and click on "Start Testing".

**Step 3 — Accept and Install Pedaltrak**
You should now be in TestFlight and asked to accept testing Pedaltrak. Click on "ACCEPT". It should now be installing Pedaltrak on your home screen just like any other app. Note: the app will have a little orange dot next to it that marks it as a beta app.

**Troubleshooting:**
- If Apple asks you to sign up: Sign up for TestFlight, then repeat the steps above.
- If Apple emails you a code: Check for an email in the account associated with your Apple ID (also check spam). Open TestFlight and click "redeem" in the top right corner and enter the code.
- If you get a "build expired" message: Make sure TestFlight is installed and you are still registered. If not, go through the steps above again.

Peleus X ("Peleus X," "we," "us," and "our") provides Pedaltrak, a mobile app allowing users to connect more deeply with Peloton users and understand their workout data.

**Personal Information Collected:**
- Account registration data (name, email, password, profile photo)
- Communications with us
- Payment information (via third-party providers)
- Automatic data collection (IP address, browser, device info, cookies)

**How Information is Used:**
- Providing and improving the Services
- Administrative purposes
- With user consent
- De-identified and aggregated analysis

**Sub-processors:** Amazon Web Services (USA), Firebase (USA), Stripe (USA)

**Third-Party Sharing:** Service providers, business partners, advertising partners (for Pedaltrak's own marketing only)

**Data Rights:** Access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, non-discrimination

**Children:** Services not directed to children under 13

- Athletic activities carry inherent risks
- Maximum aggregate liability: $50 or 12-month fees paid
- Disputes resolved by binding arbitration (JAMS) with 30-day opt-out period
- Class-action waiver applies
- Claims must be filed within one year
